Your privacy matters to us. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use Soundra, how we use it, and the choices you have about your data.
Account information: your name, username, email, and password. If you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive your email, name, and profile photo from them.
Content you share: the songs, videos, cover art, comments, descriptions, and bio you upload.
How you use Soundra: songs you listen to, videos you watch, your likes, Super Likes, follows, and shares. We use this to personalize what we show you.
Device information: device language, app version, your push notification preferences, and general usage analytics.
We do not share your information with third parties for advertising purposes. Soundra has no third-party ads.
With other users: depending on your visibility settings, your username, profile photo, and public content are visible to other users.
With our service providers: we work with trusted infrastructure, email delivery, and notification providers that help us operate Soundra. These providers can access your data only to perform their services and must follow strict privacy standards.
For legal reasons: when required by a court order, lawful request from authorities, or to protect the safety of users.
You can change notification preferences, manage follow requests, and block or mute users from Settings.
You can permanently delete your account anytime via Settings → Delete Account.
Under GDPR, CCPA, KVKK, and similar laws, you have the right to access, correct, delete, and port your personal data. To make a request, write to privacy@soundra.net; we respond within 30 days.
Your data is kept while your account is active. When you delete your account, all personal data — email, name, password, profile, uploaded content, and interaction history — is removed immediately and fully deleted from backups within 30 days. Information we are legally required to retain (e.g., financial records) is kept for the applicable retention period.
We use industry-standard security measures to protect your data: all connections are encrypted, and passwords are never stored in plain text. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. In the event of a data breach, we will notify affected users within 72 hours.
Soundra is a global service; your data may be processed outside the country where you live. All international transfers follow applicable data protection laws.
Soundra is not designed for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13; if we learn of it, we delete the account and data immediately. Users between 13 and 18 need parental permission.
The Soundra mobile app does not use third-party advertising cookies or tracking pixels. We store secure authentication information on your device to keep you signed in.
When this policy changes you will be notified via in-app notification. The "Last updated" date is refreshed with each revision. If you do not accept the new version, you should delete your account.
