Under Turkish Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (KVKK), we inform you about the processing of personal data through the Soundra mobile application. Soundra acts as the data controller under KVKK Article 3/1-ı.
Soundra is a platform providing mobile application services. As the data controller, we are responsible for protecting your personal data. Contact: privacy@soundra.net
Identity: name, username, email, date of birth.
Contact: email address, push notification preferences.
Customer transaction data: songs, videos, comments, likes, follows, Super Likes, interaction data on your content.
Audio recordings: Songs you upload are stored as auditory content. They are treated as artistic/content data, not biometric data; we do not perform voice-based identification.
Transaction security: IP address, source port, timestamp, device language, app version. (Retained for 24 months under Turkish Law No. 5651.)
a) Explicit consent — given by accepting this notice at sign-up;
b) Contract performance — processing necessary for providing the service under the Terms;
c) Legal obligation — mandatory logging under Law No. 5651, KVKK and other applicable law;
d) Legitimate interest — moderation, fraud prevention and platform security.
We do NOT share your data with third-party advertisers.
Limited transfers occur in the following cases:
Soundra is a global service; your data may be processed by infrastructure providers located outside Türkiye. All such transfers comply with KVKK Article 9.
Personal data is retained while your account is active.
When you delete your account (Settings → Delete Account), all personal data is removed immediately; backups are fully purged within 30 days.
LEGAL OBLIGATION EXCEPTION: Under Turkish Law No. 5651, traffic logs containing IP, port, timestamp, user identifier and content identifier are retained for AT LEAST 2 YEARS without deletion. Even if you delete your account, these logs remain stored as required by law.
You may apply to Soundra to exercise the following rights:
a) Learn whether your personal data is processed;
b) Request information about processing;
c) Learn the purpose and whether it is used accordingly;
d) Know about domestic/international transfers;
e) Request correction of incomplete or incorrect data;
f) Request deletion under conditions in KVKK Article 7;
g) Request notification of (e) and (f) to third parties to whom data was transferred;
h) Object to automated decisions that adversely affect you;
i) Claim compensation for damages caused by unlawful processing.

By accepting this notice at sign-up, you give EXPLICIT CONSENT to the processing of your personal data (including uploaded audio and video content) for the purposes described above, and to its transfer to infrastructure providers domestically and internationally.
You may withdraw this consent at any time via Settings → Delete Account. After withdrawal, your account and all consent-based data are deleted, except traffic logs that must be retained under Law No. 5651.
